Regenerative Leadership Institute Launches Suburban Permaculture Course

BEAVERTON, OR – January 25th, 2018 – A new suburban permaculture course is set to attract the interest of the US gardening community, which counts in excess of 17 million members from across all 50 states. The Regenerative Leadership Institute’s Suburban Permaculture Course offers “a comprehensive overview of how permaculture principles and practice can be applied to towns and cities”, helping learners develop valuable skills that will allow them to ”ensure robust plant growth and good crop yields”, while plotting out and managing a variety of gardening schemes.

More specifically, the course analyzes gardening techniques for window boxes, balconies, courtyards, roofs, and walls. The Suburban Permaculture Course curriculum covers a wide variety of topics, ranging from the best type of planting containers and the most suitable crop species for each type of growing location, to the ideal soil type for each crop species, and all the way to the benefits of urban and community gardening.

Speaking of the Suburban Permaculture Course, Ms. Sarah Michelson, the Regenerative Leadership Institute’s media representative said that “We aim to assist gardeners in building their self-sufficiency skills through a self-paced online learning experience. In addition to providing gardeners with the tools to permaculture a suburban or urban property, the Suburban Permaculture Course further explores two other options for collaborative permaculture practice – land share, and co-operative farms.”

“Along with the animated video lessons, the audio-only recordings of each lesson, and summaries to guide through each session, as well as the quizzes that ensure knowledge retention, we also provide students with two bonus eBooks, the Essential Guide to Suburban Permaculture, and the Ultimate Permaculture Manual, which serve as invaluable handbooks for all aspiring and veteran urban gardeners.”

The Regenerative Leadership Institute offers a free sustainable living checklist, containing 50 ingenious tips on how to make one’s home and garden “healthier, more beautiful and more sustainable”, to those subscribing to its email list, through here.

The Institute’s media representative shared that all new course releases will be communicated in future correspondence with the press.
